AR Billing Specialist
 
 

You will be joining a dynamic team of six Hematologists/Oncologists and a friendly, professional patient care staff including 5 oncology-certified nurses, 6 physician assistants, 2 pharmacists, a clinical research team and a well-trained business support staff.  

Queens Medical Associates (QMA) is a comprehensive outpatient cancer care facility specializing in the care of patients with Hematology and Oncology diseases. We are currently the largest stand-alone Hematology and Oncology group practice in the borough of Queens and our physicians and clinical staff at Queens Medical Associates bring decades of experience in Hematology and Oncology clinical care and associated Clinical Research to our patients.


Be part of a new, state-of-the art, 18,000 square foot facility housing a 26-chair infusion center, laboratory, and fully equipped pharmacy. The infusion center cares for an average of 350 patients per week.

Job Description:

A successful candidate demonstrates exp in timely billing, reducing AR and Delinquent acct’s, monitors posting and claims status, and maintains medical compliance. 

Duties include but not limited to:

Identifying and resolving and claim delay issues,

Resolve credit balances and acct issues,

Follow up of payment errors,

Incorrect reimbursements,

Initiate and track appeals as necessary,

Resolve COB discrepancies

And

Other tasks as assigned

Candidates must have at least 2 yrs+ experience working in specified role at a busy practice.  Highly Knowledgeable in Hematology-Oncology billing rules and regulations a plus+++.
