Avram Abramowitz, M.D.


Avram Abramowitz, M.D. received his Bachelor of Science degree

from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He received his

M.D. degree from New York Medical College and completed his

residency in InternalMedicine and fellowship in Hematology and

Oncology atthe Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. Following

his fellowship program, Dr. Abramowitz received additional

fellowship training in Neoplastic Diseases and Bone Marrow

Transplant at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.  He is Board Certified in Internal

Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology.


Dr. Abramowitz has practiced Hematology and Oncology in Manhattan and Queens for the past

fifteen years holding appointments at: New York Hospital Queens, Flushing Hospital, Parkway

Hospital, The Mount Sinai Hospital, New York City where he is a Clinical Instructor and North

Shore LIJ Forest Hills Hospital where he is Director, Division of Hematology/Oncology.



Dr. Abramowitz joined Queens Medical Associates in March of 2008 and maintains offices at

176-60 Union Turnpike Suite 360, 90-23 Elmhurst Ave., Jackson Heights and 210 East 86th

Street, Room 503 in Manhattan.
