Avram Abramowitz, M.D.

Dr. Abramowitz received his Bachelor of Science degree from the

State University of New York at Buffalo. He received his M.D.

degree from New York Medical College and completed his

residency in internal medicine and fellowship in hematology and

oncology at the Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. Following

his fellowship program, Dr. Abramowitz received additional

fellowship training in neoplastic diseases and bone marrow

transplant at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.  He is

board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology.

Dr. Abramowitz has practiced hematology and oncology in Manhattan and Queens for the past

fifteen years holding appointments at: New York Hospital Queens, Flushing Hospital, Parkway

Hospital, The Mount Sinai Hospital, New York City where he is a clinical instructor and North

Shore LIJ Forest Hills Hospital where he holds the title of Director, Division of

Hematology/Oncology.
